Chiang Mai University Business School hosted the AAPBS 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting Topic: “Surpassing Beyond the Pandemic” on 11-12 November 2021
Chiang Mai University Business School hosted the AAPBS 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting in the Topic: “Surpassing Beyond the Pandemic” on November 11, 2021 at 13.00 – 15.30 and November 12, 2021 at 14.35 – 16.50 (Bangkok Local Time). Assistant Professor Khongphu Nimanandh, Dean of Chiang Mai University Business school, together with Prof. Robin Gauld, AAPBS President, and Prof. Betty Chung, AAPBS Executive Director gave an opening and welcome speeches to all members of the Association of Asia-Pacific Business School (AAPBS), deans, executives, teaching staffs, and other participant worldwide.
This AAPBS 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting is a part of Chiang Mai Business School’s celebration for the AACSB accreditation in April this year. It enhances the school’s positioning as a world-class business school, organizing such important event for academic exchange and seminar in Asia-Pacific business education.
On 11 November 11 2021, the AAPBS 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting included the keynote speeches of “Business School’s Contributions Beyond the Pandemic” and “Transformational Education”, as well as panel discussions in“Future of Internship and Project-Based Learning” and “Edutech and VR Application”.

On 12 November 11 2021, the AAPBS 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting encompassed the panel discussion in “Fostering Innovative Startups”, small-group discussions under the topic “After the Pandemic: What to keep & What to quit”, anda keynote speech of “The Aftermath of the Pandemic, the Learnings, and the Projections”. The event was full of exchanges and discussions of speakers who are the topics’ experts, involved with an operation of business education under the pandemic (Covid-19), and also reflected the perspectives of business sectors that are being affected by the pandemic, such as participating in internship programs and developing innovativeness.

Furthermore, all funding and sponsorships of this event are donated to the Center of the Elephant and Wildlife Research operated by The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University. Due to the Asian elephants having a high risk of extinction, elephants and care-givers are also affected by this pandemic (Covid-19).To conserve the Asian elephants for education, research and support the elephant tourism, Chiang Mai University Business School donated all funding from the event on the attendees’ behalf to help them in this difficult time.
