Chiang Mai University Business School joined the AAPBS 2022 Annual Meeting at Brisbane, Australia on November 21-23, 2022

Chiang Mai University Business School by Assistant Professor Khongphu Nimanandh, Dean together with Assistant Dean included Associate Professor Dr.Narumon Kimpakorn, Associate Professor Dr.Adisak Theeranuphattana, and Assistant Professor Dr.Pichayalak Pichayakul joined the AAPBS 2022 Annual Meeting under the theme “Business education futures: reimagining and reconnecting” at Sofitel Brisbane Central, Australia that University of Queensland Business School hosted onsite this year after the pandemic (Covid-19).

Global Technology Business and Management Conference (GTBMC) 2023

Chiang Mai University Business School and Electrical Engineering Academic Association (Thailand) hosted the Global Technology Business and Management Conference (GTBMC) 2023 in the topic “Technologies Changing the Future of Business” between November 22-24, 2022 at Chiang Mai Marriott Hotel. Assistant Professor Khongphu Nimanandh, Dean of Chiang Mai University Business school, together with Associate Professor Dr. Narumon Kimpakorn, Conference Program Chair gave an opening and welcome speeches to 9 presenters in 4 countries included Thailand, Japan, Brunei, and United States and 161 attendees. In this year, GTBMC 2023 honored to had Professor Dr. Paul Patterson, Professor at School of Marketing (UNSW Business School, UNSW Sydney) and visiting professor at CMUBS to give his speech in the topic “Artificial Intelligence (AI) – A Case Study in a Professional Service Context” GTBMC 2023 announced 3 awards for 3 articles included: 1. CMUBS organized a “AMBA and BGA Association”discussion and in a “The Future of Management Education and the Role of Business School” seminar

On February 7, 2023, Assist. Prof. Dr. Khongphu Nimanandh, Dean of Chiang Mai University Business School, together with the executive team joined a seminar with Prof. Dr. Bodo B. Schlegelmilch (Chair (& Trustee), International Management Board: AMBA (Association of MBAs) and BGA (Business Graduates Association) of United States to exchange concept and opinions in apply for International accreditation standards of Association at the 2nd floor meeting room CMUBS, for evaluation standards and ways for enhancing education quality, programs and working process of the faculty.

CMUBS took Prof. Dr. Bodo B. Schlegelmilch to visit Chiang Mai University campus and meet the Assistant to the President for discussing an expansion of the academic collaboration in the university level.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Varattaya Jangkrajarng, Assistant Dean and Ms.Anchalee Wiloetsak, Head of Research, Academic Service and International Relation Division of Chiang Mai University Business School took Prof. Dr. Bodo B. Schlegelmilch, a professor of International Management and Marketing, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Vienna University (WU Vienna) to visit CMU campus, including His Majesty ingenious works exhibition of Phrabat Somdet Phra Paraminthra Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) at the His Majesty the King’s 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building, Angkaew Reservoir, and Dhamma Pavilion on February 6, 2023. Then, Assist. Prof. Dr. Khongphu Nimanandh, Dean of Chiang Mai University Business School took his team to meet with Assist. Prof. Worakanya Buranapatthana Ph.D., the Assistant to the President of Chiang Mai University to introduce Prof. Dr. Bodo B. Schlegelmilch and discuss an expansion of the academic collaboration in the university level at Mom Luang Pin Malakul meeting room, office of the university building 1.
