1. Formats or styles of hybrid learning
Online learning will never leave any students behind because the modes of learning, activities, and assessments are neatly structured to provide students with skills as anticipated by the program in an equal way, no matter what particular mode of learning is selected by students. Furthermore, necessary devices and tools that support hybrid learning are fully integrated and arranged to reduce educational limitations for online students who are not present in classrooms like their classmates. Meanwhile, all instructors have realized the importance of collaborative learning environments in the form of hybrid learning.

Modes of learning and activities will be modeled in a hybrid manner to enable both types of students to develop their understanding on the contents and obtain the same knowledge.
Students are allowed to choose their modes of learning, no matter which province they live in Thailand.
The program allows students to choose their modes of learning during the registration periods based on the academic calendar as stipulated by the university. Once the mode of learning is confirmed, students must carry on such mode of learning throughout the semester. A different mode of learning can be reselected when they register in the following semester.
The program puts a priority on interactions and opinion exchanges between instructors and students. Even though it is online learning, students are required to attend their classes based on the schedules.
A classroom, known as a smart classroom, is deliberately designed to enable a continuous interaction between instructors and students as shown in Item 1: Hybrid learning classroom.
Instructors in each course will design their teaching methods and classroom activities to comply with the learning outcomes and the program objectives in order to produce the desirable graduates for the labor market in the finance industry.
Necessary equipment is a laptop with its webcam whereby students are required to turn on their camera at all times in the classrooms to promote an interactive participation between instructors and classmates.
The online learning platforms are carefully arranged by the Program. These include Microsoft Teams, Zoom or KC-Moodle that support self-study and collaborative working as a team with other classmates.
Class attendance is regularly checked as a part of the course assessment.
Assignment or homework submission can be done through the platforms used in the study. Regardless of which mode of learning is selected by students, all assignments or homework will be submitted through the same channel.
Group work is modeled in a hybrid manner between two types of students or depending on the teaching and learning management in a single course.
Online students are eligible for a degree like their onsite classmates. A degree to be granted is Master of Science (Finance).
Students are destined to receive the same fundamental skills, whether communication, presentation, teamwork, or tool applications for data analysis. A blended learning mode, online and onsite, will enable students to effectively apply the obtained experience for their work in responding to the current trends of working where hybrid workplaces are increasingly adopted.
A class schedule and activity will be informed to students in advance. Therefore, students can plan their study and class attendance accordingly. According to the University Regulations, students are required to attend their classes for no fewer than 80 percent.
2. Examination formats
Only onsite examination is available. Students are required to take an examination at the Faculty of Business Administration, Chiang Mai University. Only one examination per course is arranged. For students who choose Type 3, they need to take the comprehensive examination at the Faculty of Business Administration, Chiang Mai University, during the 2nd Semester of the 2nd Year. In the event that the awkward situations cause the troubles for transportation, without any restrictions on grouping, the examination will be provided in the provinces where examination centers are located.

3. Activities that require student participation
- CMU Doi Suthep Trekking
- An activity arranged by the Program once a year
These depend on a single classroom, which are perhaps similar or different.
Normally, students are required to plan their study and activity participation in advance, except for any circumstances beyond their control. In this case, students need to submit their leave of absence with the supporting reasons whereby it is to be considered by the Program Committee on a case-by-case basis.
4. Counseling with lecturers
Students are allowed to counsel with lecturers through both online and onsite channels. Based on their past teaching experience regarding the online format, the Program’s lecturers are skilled at using various platforms to effectively communicate with students who do not reside in Chiang Mai.
5. Tuition Fees
Hybrid learning has higher costs than only online or onsite learning. In fact, online learning bears higher costs than onsite learning due to preparations necessary for platforms and online learning tools.
6. Lifestyle
Students in both types of learning can build friendships with their classmates through classroom interaction, tutoring session with their peers after class, teamworking, participation in the activity as arranged by the Program that requires students to visit the Faculty of Business Administration.
Online students are allowed to meet the lecturers, both online and onsite. For an online channel, the platform used for the study will serve as the main channel for communications. To visit lecturers at the Faculty, students can meet their lecturers at the appointed time and date or participation in the activity as arranged by the Program.
