Chiang Mai University Business School (CMUBS) had the great honor of welcoming Professor Xinming He from Durham University Business School, one of the leading business schools in the United Kingdom, on 11th May 2026. This visit marked Professor He’s second visit to CMUBS, reflecting the strong and continuing relationship between the two institutions.   The purpose of the visit was to strengthen academic relationships and explore future collaboration opportunities between CMUBS and Durham University Business School. During the visit, Professor Xinming He joined discussions with faculty members from the Department of Marketing to exchange ideas and discuss potential collaborations in several key areas, including teaching and learning development, research collaboration, academic exchange, and future international initiatives.   CMUBS believes that this growing partnership with Durham University Business School will play an important role in enhancing the quality of teaching, research, and international academic engagement, contributing to the continued development of CMUBS toward greater international excellence.

CMUBS Signs MOU with Singapore Management University to Establish Integrated Bachelor–Master Academic Pathways

On 23 February 2026, Chiang Mai University Business School officially held a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with Singapore Management University to establish integrated Bachelor–Master academic pathways and strengthen academic collaboration between the two institutions. The agreement was signed by Asst Prof. Dr. Khongphu Nimanandh, Dean of Chiang Mai University Business School, and Assoc. CMUBS Signs Collaboration Agreement with TradingView to Enhance Investment Learning at an International Standard

On 15 December 2025, the Chiang Mai University Business School (CMUBS) signed a collaboration agreement with TradingView, a leading global platform for investment data and social networking for traders and investors. The agreement was signed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Danai Likitratcharoen, Head of the Department of Finance, representing the faculty, with Dr. Ratima Srisomwongse, professor from the Marketing Department, serving as a witness. On 28 November 2025, Chiang Mai University Business School (CMUBS), led by Assistant Professor Dr. Khongphu Nimanandh, Dean of CMUBS, together with the Assistant Dean for International Relations, the Program Chair, and Committee Members of the Doctor of Philosophy Program, participated in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with BINUS Business School, Republic of Indonesia. 24 November 2025, Chiang Mai University Business School (CMUBS) held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between CMUBS and KH Academy at Meeting Room 3, CMUBS. Chiang Mai University Business School and Electrical Engineering Academic Association (Thailand) hosted the Global Technology Business and Management Conference (GTBMC) 2022 in the topic “Beyond Frontier in Energy Business and Technology Management” between November 2-4, 2022 at Le Méridien Chiang Mai. Assistant Professor Khongphu Nimanandh, Dean of Chiang Mai University Business school, together with Associate Professor Dr. Athikom Roeksabutr, President of Electrical Engineering Academic Association (Thailand) gave an opening and welcome speeches to contributors, 31 presenters from 14 organization in 5 countries included Japan, United States, Brunei, Croatia and 148 attendees.
