At IIM Shillong, our journey over the past eighteen years has been deeply rooted in a singular commitment—to embed Sustainability not just in our curriculum, but in our consciousness.
It is with immense pleasure and purpose that we invite you to SUSCON XII – the 12th International Conference on Sustainability, to be held from 20th to 22nd November 2025. This year’s theme, “Decarbonizing Development,” seeks to explore innovative ideas, practical solutions, and collaborative pathways towards a conscious future of development, building on the following subthemes:
– Low-Carbon Pathways for Economic Growth
– Clean Energy Transitions and Electrification
– Green Industry, Infrastructure, and Mobility
– Nature-Based and Circular Solutions
– Climate Finance and Policy for Just Transition
– Behavioral Change, Education, and Community Action
What to Expect:
-Scholarly Paper Presentations: Research papers, literature reviews, case studies, conceptual pieces, and working projects/prototypes.
– Posters and Project Showcases: A visual and interactive platform to share ideas.
– Keynote Speeches: Insights from eminent thought leaders on decarbonization.
– Expert Panels: Engaging discussions on critical decarbonization challenges.
Conference Format:
SUSCON XII will be conducted in a hybrid mode.
– Indian participants are required to present on-site at the picturesque IIM Shillong campus.
– International participants have the option to present virtually.
